I felt my body
relaxing into
but when
you went
silent again,
the tension returned
and kept me awake
pouring all my anxiety
into my imagination
refusing to sleep
craving for you,
afraid you may
disappear again,
the thought
of a repeat
kept me tensed,
but as i read
your words
this morning
its dawn on me
the jinx is broken,
filling my heart
with calm and
my body with
because in your
”i will never
leave you, and
the day i will
be saying good bye
would be
the day i die”…
