My diamond wrist watch,
I cherish for its value,
It adds no value to time,
It does not change it,
It makes the tick-tick
sound to tell time,
although it took
sometime,
now I know better,
that our focus
should migrate
from the time
on our wrist to
our time together,
then our mind
will unbound
from value on things
to value on people
and relationships,
making humanity
the core,
and may be,
the world a
better place.
Focus on relationships and time spent together, yes… Great reminder, Onah. I’m headed to go do that right now! Have a hug-filled day!! ❤

This is also one lesson from an encounter with a bitter person, a few weeks ago. I now take off my watch, during time with people. If someone asks the time, I can always take the watch out of my pocket.
