They taught
me how to
sit,
they assisted
while I crawled,
they helped
as I staggered
in steps,
discipline was
no candy,
painful, but
a path to mold
and guide me,
he is my
superman,
and she my
wonder woman,
both my solace,
my parents,
my heroes.
It’s a beautiful day, the day we move beyond criticism of our parents, and we move to the place where we can appreciate and love them for the gift of life and love they have given us. Another beautiful post, OnahDave ❤

Parents should be children’s heroes. There are some unlucky children who have mean, cold or abusive parents. I feel bad for them!
I’m glad you and I had good parents.
